Look Again

Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art,
Winston-Salem, NC

With this installation, Dorosz applies similar techniques as in The Painted Room (2009) to create a ghostly stack of furniture that takes on special resonance.

Speaking to the memory of materials, The Yellow Pillow draws its inspiration from a silk pillow that survived for decades in the artist's grandmother’s house.
